This paper presents a space vector -based deadbeat control scheme for
eliminating harmonics in the power systems using a shunt active filter. A digital simulation study of the proposed control scheme as applied to a small power system supplying a phase-controlled AC-DC converter has been carried out. Results obtained under various operating conditions are presented. It is shown that
the controller gives good performance in harmonic compensation, this, in turn,
improves greatly the qulity of the supplied power. |
