| Abstract |
ln the paper the need of passive filter optimization is substantiated and the generalized criterion for this purpose is
elaborated. The way of comparing different quantities which express the compensation effects with the compensator cost index is presented. The levels of different requirement fulfillments are reduced to the dimension less values from the range
between 0 and I by means of the special transformation and the desirability function. For the combination of separate requirements into one generalized optimization criterion the geometric mean formula is used. In the paper, using the proposed procedure, an example of filter optimization is given. |
