| Abstract |
This paper presents a recursive algorithm to estimate the rotor resistance in induction motors from stator measurements based on a linear regression model of the motor. Especial attention will be given to the robustness of the algorithm to errors in measurements and "known" parameters. Rotor-resistance estimation is discussed with and without rotor-speed measurement. The main contributions have been validated using simulation and field-tests results from a typical 15 kW induction motor. |
