From the cost-effective point of view, it is very important to design a current
controller with the most efficient current utilization of power semiconductor devices. This can be achieved by a current controller without overshoot against the limited varying control voltage in PWM converters and the accompanied delays due to a computational time delay Trondheim and so on. This paper suggests a novel intelligent current controller which consists of the proportional controller with very high gain, the conditional integrator, the modified Smithpredictor,
and the space vector PWM using the vector over-modulation scheme. The digital simulations done by SIMULINKJMA TLAB show that the proposed controller ensures the full
utilization of current capacity of power devices irrespective of the nonlinearities. |
