Abstract |
This paper deals with the performance of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drive during failures in the power electronic converter or in the motor connections, operated both at base speed and in the flux-weakening region. Since the current regulation is an inherent feature of each PMSM drive, the influence of different current control strategies on phase currents and motor torque when a failure occurs is accurately investigated. |
