| Abstract |
Single phase and three phase versions of the boost converter have been widely used to obtain a high Power Factor and a low harmonic distortion in AC/DC applications. This paper analyzes the design of a boost converter, acting as a Power Factor Pre-regulator, being the same converter able to operate either with 1 "phi" or 3 "phi" input. Design rules and experimental results are also included in the paper. |
