Abstract |
A three-phase inverter with a neutral leg is presented in this paper for three-phase four-wire power supply applications; it has superior performance over conventional neutral point clamped threephase inverter with split de-link capacitors, to deal with ground current due to unbalanced load and nonlinear load. Three-dimensional space vector modulation for the 4-legged inverter is described.
Average circuit models of the inverter in both stationary and rotating coordinates are given. Power stage and control loop design issues are discussed. Simulation and experimental results for a 150-kW prototype verified the proposed 3D space vector modulation scheme. |
