Abstract |
A predictive correction method for fast control systems with respect to the example of static V AR compensation of arc furnaces is presented. Applications with fast control methods have limited accuracy due to disturbances such as harmonics in control signal. This paper describes a method of correcting the control signal, which is based on actual control errors and their time derivatives. In case of static V AR compensation of arc furnaces with the flicker reduction as main aim, it is shown that results are improved significantly by employing
the proposed method. |
