| Abstract |
This paper presents a control method for current type pulse width modulation
(PWM) AC to DC converters. This method is based on a vectorial sliding mode approach and on a simple hysteresis modulator proposed recently. Three switching functions defined by a linear combination of the vectorial error and its derivative are used. The practical
implementation of this system is easy leading to a simple controller structure. A comparison between hysteresis controller and the sliding mode controller is done showing great advantages on the proposed method. |
