 Abstract   We evaluate the robustness of sliding mode controllers for twelve pulse parallel thyristor rectifiers with output double LC filters. Due to the natural commutated thyristors the sliding mode controller uses a constant frequency approach. In this paper the steady-state error problem is solved and the robustness of the resultant system is verified with simulation results. Experimental results are also discussed.
