Abstract |
A robust sliding mode on-line controller, suitable for the output voltage control of multilevel inverters with steady-state error elimination, is described. Capacitor voltage divider equalisation is also
addressed using the same theory. Controller operation can be at variable or constant frequency, sampling only the output voltage. The design of all controller and modulator electronics for the power converter is integrated using a single theoretical approach. Presented simulation and experimental results show that the performance of the controller is independent of system parameters and load. Capacitor voltage divider drift is also completely eliminated. |
