Abstract |
Pairs of choppers delivering the same power are used in bottle forming industrial heating. Their full wave control avoids prohibited high frequency harmonic components but create a flicker effect. Applying amplitude modulation theory to the voltage drop across the line impedance gives a
very good reduction of the flicker effect.
The result is a heating system without any filter creating no prohibited harmonics. |
