| Abstract |
This paper describes several aspects of the research effort in the field of mains
protection. It presents a methodology leading to implement artificial intelligence systems into a safety equipment. It describes the various means to detect undesirable faults and illustrates different ways to extract the required information for load recognition. A specific application of the process for residential loads or office appliances is then proposed. It consists in a load
recognition device, acting under safety conditions, and using simple means. |
