| Abstract |
Today exciter supervisor system can be implemented by general purpose
standard hardware. Two of the vantages are to have a large range of low cost
components on the market and to make easier the implementation of
communications with other company systems, as for instance with a high level
supervisor system. The system dealt with is composed by two VME systems. These exchange remote I/0 by a distributed smart I/0. General purpose boards manage the communication
with a high level supervisor system by ETHERNET network. |
