Abstract |
A power system will be investigated theoretically. This power-systems are more and more loaded by controlled rectifiers. Power-factor control using capacitor batteries are commonly used to keep the reactive power on a low level. The current harmonics created by tl1e rectifier units can give a lot of problems. Some real measurements show that all difficulties can be located by special voltage and current measurements. Also the calculation of the total power can give some additional information about unsymmetry of the whole system. The
situation of controlled rectifiers in such power system together with a phase control using capacitors introduce
resonance circuits together with leakage reactances of transfom1er or generators for the higher current harmonics.
The occuring resonance rise belongs to the load situation in this moment. Measuring device and all additional
calculations will be explained together with the developed results. |
