   Feedforward control of two mass servo systems for high speed response   [View]

 Abstract   This paper concerns with high precision and high speed control of a ball screw type linear motor. The control manner is necessarily a multi-rate sampling system. In this paper, in order to get the high speed response, the relatively slow sampling rate for a feedfoward control command, while the high sampling rate for a feedback control. This paper show how to design the feedfoward and feedback control. Effectiveness is verified by experiments.
