Abstract |
This study is based on optimum phase-advance angle calculation by using a time stepping simulation technique to improve brushless DC motor torque perfonnance in voltage limit region. The
solution corresponding to 120° and 180° conduction modes covers not only steady state but also dynamic behaviour of the drive system. Moreover, an analytical approach in time domain to find out optimum phase-advance angle is presented. l11e simulation and analytical results have been compared and the
correlation between analytical and theoretical results have been assessed. Furthennore, experimental results are also proposed. |
