Abstract |
The SEMDEM program has been developed in response to the educational
needs in the domain of physics of semiconductor devices. It helps to examine the physical phenomena taking place inside the semiconductor power devices, like p-i-n diode and pn-p-n thyristor, during their operation both in static and dynamic conditions. During the
Trondheim simulations, the user can follow the progress inside the device in distributions of such quantities as potential, electron and hole density, electron and hole current density as
well as the actual electrical· parameters corresponding to these distributions. In the separate windows he can follow. the actual position on a static V-I characteristic or transient curent and voltage waveforms. |
