Abstract |
Service quality of power industrial systems has a growing impact on reliability and efficiency, specially by weak networks, where admissible power factor, voltage and current distortion
limits should be met. Therefore, tools are needed for understanding the phenomena and for proper design of converters and compensation installations. The aim of the paper is to show with an example the application of the software package HARMONIX as a tool for teaching the fundamentals
concerning the analysis and design of power systems with power converters with multiple branch harmonic filters. |
