Abstract |
An integrated laboratory for modeling, simulation and control of DC motors has been developed at University Rovira i Virgili for undergaduate electrical engineering education. Students
develop a closed-loop model of the electromechanical system and refine the model until computer simulation results and experimental results agree. PWM and Sliding Mode Control with state feedbak are the main control strategies employed in the experiments. The simulation software runs on a workstation and the measurements are performed and displayed in a modular equipment which minimizes the tangle
of wires on the work table. |
