Abstract |
In this paper, new shunt active filter control methods to obtain the reference
currents under distorted 3-phase supply system conditions are presented. The implementation of conventional instantaneous power theory introduces substantial distortion in the reference
current template which results in significant supply harmonic distortion. The proposed methods eliminate this distortion through the novel application of instantaneous symmetrical components. The superior performance and feasibility are verified by experimental and
simulation case studies. |
