| Abstract |
Designing ferrimagnetic components for applications like flyback converters or
filters for modem telecommunication systems requires knowledge of the ferrite inductance under DC current conditions. Measurements of the inductance on E-cores in several power
materials are in good agreement with the computed results using the equations suggested by R. Gans [1]. For ferrite cores with non uniform cross sections along the magnetic path like EP- or RM-cores a calculation scheme for the inductance will be presented. |
