Abstract |
This paper presents a lumped parameter model describing the electromagnetic behavior of Transverse Flux Reluctance Machines. Current dynamics and torque generation are obtained utilizing varying magnetic conductivities of the air gap along the rotor perimeter. The model parameters are identified experimentally using a high accuracy current control for sinusoidal reference currents. A low torque ripplemode of operation is proposed. |
