| Abstract |
This paper describes the general designconsiderations and analysis for an industrial size electro-static(ES) motor/generator. The operation fundamentals, combinedwith FE (Finite Element) analysis are discussed with the targetoperation in the outer space or vacuumed environment. Thetorque production and limitations with high voltage electric fieldare analyzed and compared with conventional frame size electricmachines. |
