| Abstract |
A novel, soft-switched, transformerless, DC to AC inverter, suitable for direct connection ofphotovoltaic (PV) panels is presented. The proposed topology features indirect energy transfer bymeans of a resonant AC link. This enables grounding of the DC side of the inverter, which isbeneficial in PV installations. Operation of the proposed inverter is described and verified bysimulations. Experimental prototype is constructed, and preliminary measurement results arepresented. |
