Abstract |
The Quasi-Z-Source-Inverter (QZSI) reveals an asymmetrical L-C-network structure in which unwantedoscillations can be triggered by input voltage disturbances (IVD). This paper presents an AC small signalmodel of the QZSI, derived from State Space Averaging, with emphasis on the influence of IVD. Afterthe discussion of the small signal model, a novel cascade control strategy is developed to adequatelycompensate the influence of IVD on the DC-link voltage. The effectiveness of the proposed controlstrategy is verified by simulation and experimental results on a laboratory test bench with an inductionmachine as load. |
