The world is facing huge energy challenges : increasing energy demand and necessity to reduce CO2emission. Power Electronics should play a key role to address these callenges.In order to continue to improve energy efficency of power converters. we must accelerate adoption ofadvanced power semiconductors (SiC, GaN),and development of new topologies and control.Power Electronics can play important roles to solve issues due to intermittence power generation ofrenewables : grid stability, and voltage variation,Starting from current Schneider Electric's offer using Power Electronics, the presentation gives apanorama of our innovation actions and perspective for Energy efficiency and Smart grid. |
