| Abstract |
This work presents a new multilevel unidirectional single-phase PFC rectifier topology well-suited forapplications targeting for high efficiency and/or high power density. The characteristics of thisrectifier topology, including the principles of operation, modulation strategy, feedback control scheme,and dimensioning equations are described in this paper. Finally, a 3 kW laboratory prototype isconstructed and used in order to verify the characteristics of the new converter. |
