Full electric Trust Vector Control for space launcher applications

| Abstract |
The construction of the future European launcher Arianne 6 introduces new challenge for embedded power electronics. Indeed, the orientation control of the engines jet (Trust Vector Control) of the first stages of the launcher, today hydraulic will become electrical. The level of instantaneous power of the order of 100 kW and the fault tolerant need will request adapted structures of inverter and power sources. The electrical constraints of such device and the constraints linked to the space environment will be presented. |
