| Abstract |
Proposed here is an alternate Five-level four-quadrant cascaded multilevel converter cell configurationthat compared to the other cell configurations, for dc fault current limitation, will be more compactand avoid the external dc breaker. Loss comparison on cells with dc fault blocking capability for thecascaded converter is also presented. |
