On-line stator faults diagnosis by parameter estimation

Abstract |
The authors propose a new diagnosis method for on-line stator faults detection by parameter
estimation. This technique is based on real time identification of stator faulty model to detect inter
turns short-circuit windings in induction motor. For predictive detection, Kalman filtering algorithm
has been adapted to take into account the on-line parameters deviations in faulty case. Recursive and
explicit algorithms are presented and illustrated by real data of an induction motor that has been
designed to have some more and less important faults. |
