Abstract |
In the paper a sensorless control solution for Brushless DC motors is proposed for a High-Altitude
Solar-Electric Airplane Propulsion Drive. The proposed technique is able to bring the motor from
stand-still to the maximum speed by using back EMFs estimation to obtain the rotor position and
speed. The complete drive system has been simulated, showing its robustness to detuned parameter
conditions over the whole required speed range. |
