 Abstract   A new concept to realize efficient capacitive-coupling contactless power transfer One-PulseSwitching Active Capacitor (OPSAC) was proposed. OPSAC is composed of single phase inverterwith a dc capacitor. The inverter switches only one time per cycle of supply voltage. The biggestadvantage of the proposed active capacitor is simple operation and inherent stability. In this paper, anew control method of OPSAC is proposed to increase distributed power. In the proposed method,three level operation is employed in the single phase inverter in OPSAC. The effectiveness of theproposed method is verified through simulations.
