Abstract |
DFIGs’ ability to generate power decreases considerably during faults. Nevertheless, it is still not clear
how such a reduction is developed. Consequently, the system may be over demanded, ending up tripping the wind turbine. Thereby, this paper presents an analysis of DFIGs’ capability to generate
power and ride-through asymmetric faults. |
