Abstract |
This paper deals with the implementation of a new solution for a three-phase AC transformer with electromagnetic and electric coupling (hybrid coupling). The electromagnetic coupling is realized by means of the conventional three-phase transformer (TR) with two secondary windings in each phase. The electrical coupling is realized by means of a matrix chopper (MC), which is supplied from auxiliary secondary windings of the transformer. This paper presents an operational description of the proposed solution and simulation and experimental test results collected together with theoretical analysis results. |
