Abstract |
A comparison of field oriented control and and state space control for power electronic generator systems of wind turbines is presented. The aim of this work is the optimization of the power gain and the reduction of dynamic stress of the drive train and the reduction of flicker in both caused by fluctuating wind speed. The work is carried out by means of simulation based on a high order model and the use of measured wind speed data with different average wind speeds and fluctuations. The controller parameters of the two controller methods were optimized by means of three cost functions. The behavior of the wind turbine system with the two optimized controller methods is compared with each other. |
