Abstract |
The paper describes standalone operation of power generation system, with doubly fed induction generator DFIG, during permanent fault of the grid caused by short circuit, line breaking or controlled disconnection. Supply of the unbalanced load in autonomous mode is discussed as very rarely during standalone operation of three phase supply system the load is symmetrical. Topologies of three and four wire systems are presented. Linear stator voltage vector control in synchronously rotated polar frame providing fixed amplitude and frequency is described. Additional control of negative sequence component of the stator voltage vector used for reduction of the voltage assymmetry is described. Results of simulation and experimental tests of variable speed standalone DFIG are shown. |
