The purpose of this paper is to present a novel control method for the digitally controlled dc-dc converter and to improve the dynamic characteristics using the proposed simple control circuit. The feature is that the derivative control in the time-domain is combined to the FIR filter in the frequency-domain. As a result, it is clarified that the transient time and overshoot of the reactor current are suppressed to within 1.43 ms and 1.4 A and that these result is approximately 60\% smaller than the conventional minimum phase FIR filter method, respectively. Moreover, it is revealed that the number of parts of the digital control circuit is 15\% smaller than that of the analog control circuit and the cost is also 5\% smaller. |
