| Abstract |
Motivating a large number of students and creating an interesting, challenging and appealing study environment
is a difficult task for any lecturer. This paper describes how a motivating learning environment
has been established over the last two years leading to a significant increase in the number of students
studying electrical machines and variable speed drives at the Technical University of Berlin. |
