Abstract |
The paper presents most important inferences, that have arisen from the research about technical, energetical and economical properties of Photovoltaic Drive Systems (PDS), especially at an angle of conditions of use of different power electronic converters and their operation terms in such systems. The research has been done by availing material models (laboratory stands) and mathematical models (computer simulations). The short description of the most important features of different PDS structures, with presenting their block diagrams, is done. The schematic diagram of simple, and relatively inexpensive, stand-alone PDS without electrical buffer source (e.g. electrochemical accumulator), and with DC commutator motor with permanent magnet excitement, is presented. This system may be applied for irrigation of cultivable lands, or for water circulation and filtration for swimming pools or fountains. |
